Abstract

The ability of smart sensors to record physical characteristics has completely changed the world. In applications related to the environment, disaster relief, transportation, and similar areas, the sensors provide essential data to the monitoring station. An Internet of Things-based framework is developed that uses sensors to identify car accidents, and the data is saved and tracked on the Thingspeak cloud. Using a GPS, accelerometer, and ultrasonic sensor, the warning is triggered anytime the car is involved in an accident. The communication module transmits the real-time coordinates message. The monitoring station takes the necessary action by recognizing the accident occurred and providing the emergency services to the hotspot immediately. The integrated method will be advantageous as it would identify any accidents involving the car and make it easier for the passengers to receive emergency assistance. In any smart city, the suggested structure would be helpful in saving lives.
